Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, disconnected in relationships, or frustrated by patterns they cannot seem to break. I work alongside clients to help them better understand the function of these patterns, strengthen emotional awareness, improve coping and communication skills, and develop a more compassionate and stable relationship with themselves.
My clinical focus includes adults navigating anxiety, trauma, emotion dysregulation, relationship difficulties, personality disorders, and major life transitions. In addition to working with adults, I also have experience working with teens, couples, and families. I am especially drawn to work that helps clients develop greater self-understanding, emotional awareness, and more effective ways of navigating relationships and life stressors.
I strive to create a warm, collaborative, and authentic therapeutic atmosphere, and believe therapy is most effective when clients feel genuinely understood and supported rather than judged, analyzed, or “fixed.” I believe it is important to create a space where clients can safely explore difficult emotions, longstanding patterns, and vulnerable experiences while also building practical tools for everyday life.
My work integrates evidence-based approaches including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), trauma-informed care, and collaborative, insight-oriented techniques. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor treatment to each client’s individual needs, strengths, and goals. I value balancing insight and self-reflection with concrete strategies that help clients feel more grounded, and empowered outside of sessions.
In addition to therapy, I have experience conducting collaborative psychological and neuropsychological assessments, including ADHD assessments. I have a strong interest in personality, identity, emotional functioning, and interpersonal dynamics. I have found that increased self-understanding can create meaningful opportunities for change, helping clients feel less “stuck” and more connected to themselves, their relationships, and the lives they want to build.
I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) from Immaculata University, where my dissertation focused on integrating Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Therapeutic Assessment for individuals with borderline personality disorder and have experience providing care across inpatient, partial hospitalization, and outpatient settings, supporting individuals with a wide range of clinical presentations and levels of acuity.
